About me

Welcome!

Hi there! I’m Attorney Akiesha Anderson and I’m thrilled that you’re considering inviting me or my team to join you on your law school admissions journey!

In a nutshell, I’m a former law school admissions officer for a T14 law school / UCLA School of Law. During my time working in law school admissions and under a race-blind admissions policy (due to state law even before the Supreme Court’s decision banning affirmative action), I helped UCLA Law matriculate it’s largest class of Black 1Ls in nearly 25 years. My expertise lies in helping low-income, first-generation, and especially Black and Brown law school applicants navigate the law school admissions process. As someone with actual experience making law school admissions and scholarship recommendations, having reviewed over a thousand files as an admissions officer, and having helped thousands of students get into law school and receive more than $25 million in scholarship offers as an admissions coach, ya girl kind of knows what she’s doing when it comes to this law school admissions coaching thing.

Outside of running Anderson Admissions Academy and helping clients enhance their odds of getting into the law schools of their dreams, I am a licensed-attorney, policy / legislative professional, former lobbyist, former chief of staff, 2024-2025 Obama Foundation Leader, wife, sister, friend, and so much more!

With that said, please make yourself at home, take a look around at my prices and services, and be sure to follow me on social media (especially Instagram and TikTok) at @AskAkiesha .
